PAINT Philadelphia completed a classic exterior painting refresh for a multi-story home on Price Ave in Narberth, PA 19072. The owners asked us to brighten the façade, protect aging woodwork, and address areas of failing trim. With no specific products requested, our focus was on thorough surface prep, targeted carpentry, and a durable finish that complements the home’s historic lines and leafy setting.
Colors & Surfaces We Painted
From the photos, the palette features a soft buttercream on the wood shingle siding up top, a warm taupe/beige on the lower stucco body, and crisp cream trim that ties windows, fascia, and porch details together. Burgundy shutters and gable accents provide rich contrast and highlight the Craftsman-style geometry at the porch.

Prep, Repairs & Results
We began with a full wash and scrape to remove chalking and loose paint, then sanded transitions to feather edges smooth. Our team replaced sections of rotten trim at sills and fascia, matched profiles, and primed all new wood for proper sealing. Hairline stucco cracks were filled, and open joints were caulked to block moisture. After spot-priming repairs, we carefully cut in the cream trim against the buttercream shingles and taupe stucco so the color breaks stay sharp across elevations and around detailed porch work.
The refreshed palette brightens the approach and ties in the burgundy shutters for a timeless, welcoming look. Shingles read crisp, stucco looks even, and the porch now feels finished from beam to column base.
