Soft Blue-Gray Bedroom & Bright Bath — Interior Painting in Cornell Road • Newtown, PA

Project Overview

PAINT Philadelphia was invited to refresh a primary suite in Philadelphia, PA—a tranquil bedroom, a bright spa bath, and an adjoining sitting area. The homeowner wanted soft color, crisp edges, and a finish that photographs beautifully in natural light. Our team focused on careful prep, smooth coverage, and a tidy workflow so the space could be enjoyed right away.

Color & Surfaces We Painted

From the photos, the primary wall color is a soft blue-gray in the bedroom—cool enough to feel airy, warm enough to stay cozy with morning sun. The bathroom and adjacent room were finished in a clean white, amplifying daylight and the room’s black hardware accents.

Surface type & areas:

  • Drywall walls in the bedroom, bathroom, and sitting area
  • Ceilings, including a tray ceiling detail in the larger room
  • Wood trim and casing around doors and windows
  • Interior doors for a unified, built-in look

The blue-gray sets a restful tone for the bedroom, while white in the bath keeps the stone tile, the freestanding tub, and the glass enclosure feeling bright and fresh.

Prep, Process & The Finished Look

We began by protecting carpet, tile, cabinetry, and fixtures. Nail pops and hairline seams were patched and sanded; gaps at baseboards and window trims were caulked for tight, shadow-free lines. Spot priming locked in repairs so the final sheen reads even from every angle. We brush-and-rolled walls and ceilings and refined cut lines at the tray ceiling to highlight its architecture without visual clutter.

The result is a calm, cohesive suite. The soft blue-gray frames the bed with a gentle backdrop, while the white bath glows in daylight and feels serene at night. Fresh trim brightens window lines, doors close with a clean edge, and every surface looks smooth, consistent, and easy to maintain—another polished interior painting by PAINT Philadelphia.
