PAINT Philadelphia completed a whole-home interior painting refresh on Essex Ave in Narberth, PA. The homeowners wanted brighter, cleaner rooms, sharper trim lines, and durable finishes for high-use areas like the stairway and bath. With no specific products requested, we focused on protection, repair, and a smooth, even finish that ties older architectural details together without losing character.
Colors & Surfaces We Painted
From the photos, the primary wall color through the halls and stairs is a soft beige/greige, which warms the hardwoods and keeps light moving from floor to floor. In the bathroom, walls shift to a fresh sky blue that pairs nicely with the blue tile, while all trim and doors were updated in a clean white semi-gloss for contrast and wipeable durability.

Prep, Process & Results
We began by protecting floors and fixtures, then repaired nail pops, dings, and small cracks. Glossy surfaces were deglossed and sanded; gaps at casings and baseboards were caulked to remove shadow lines. We spot-primed patches so the final sheen reads even, then brush-and-rolled walls and ceilings for smooth coverage. Doors and trim received careful sanding between coats to achieve tight, furniture-like profiles.
The finished home feels brighter and more connected. The soft beige grounds the common areas, the white trim and doors look newly installed, and the sky-blue bath feels fresh and airy. It’s a tidy, lasting interior painting upgrade—delivered with clean cut lines and a thorough final walkthrough.
