Interior Painting Project: Pemberton St, Philadelphia, PA 19146
A recent PAINT Philadelphia project, in the homeowners' own words and photos.
At PAINT Philadelphia, we recently completed an interior painting project on Pemberton Street in Philadelphia, PA. This project highlights our expertise in creating stunning transformations using premium products and thoughtful design choices.
Project Overview
The homeowners wanted to refresh their living spaces with a clean, serene, modern yet timeless aesthetic. After careful consultation, Sherwin-Williams Rock Candy was chosen as the primary paint color for its cool undertones and ability to adapt beautifully to varying lighting conditions. This soft gray-blue shade creates a tranquil and sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for enhancing natural light and adding depth to the space.
Our Process
We began by thoroughly preparing the home, including repairing minor wall imperfections and protecting floors and furniture. A high-quality primer was applied to ensure smooth coverage and lasting results. Using Sherwin-Williams products, our skilled painters meticulously applied Rock Candy to the walls, ceilings, and trim. The paint’s high Light Reflectance Value (LRV) of 75 helped brighten the space, making it feel larger and more open.
Special attention was given to achieving crisp lines around trim and corners, ensuring a flawless finish. The subtle blue undertones of Rock Candy paired beautifully with the homeowners’ existing décor, creating a harmonious balance between modern elegance and cozy comfort.
Results
The transformation was remarkable. The cool tones of Rock Candy brought a calming ambiance to the home while reflecting natural light to make the rooms feel airy and spacious. The homeowners were thrilled with the results, praising the smooth finish and professional craftsmanship.
